Season’s Greetings

At this time of year, it’s a privilege to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support throughout 2024. This has been a year of extraordinary milestones for the Crested Butte Land Trust, and none of it would have been possible without you.

This year, we reached an exciting achievement in the conservation of Red Lady. Thanks to your generosity and commitment, we successfully protected this iconic mountain for future generations, ensuring its water quality, natural beauty, and recreational opportunities remain intact forever.

In addition to Red Lady, we’ve also made significant strides in preserving vital habitats, improving public access to treasured places like Long Lake and backcountry mining claims, along with advancing our work to conserve the Slate River wetlands. Together, we are safeguarding the spaces that make our valley unique and providing a lasting legacy for wildlife, outdoor enthusiasts, and future generations.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible community that supports our mission. Your partnership makes all the difference in helping us protect the land we love.

Wishing you a joyful holiday season, filled with warmth, adventure, and plenty of fresh powder.

Here’s to another year of progress, together.

Warmly, Jake Jones
Executive Director
