Win Craven

Board Member

Win first learned about Crested Butte from one of the other ski instructors at the Dartmouth Ski School in the 1970s. The seed was planted, but family and career came first, so a pilgrimage to Crested Butte had to wait until after medical school and radiology training. Win and his wife Anda first visited Crested Butte in the 1980s. During his medical career, Win helped to build Advanced Medical Imaging Consultants into the largest provider of radiology services in Northern Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Western Nebraska. Win was a founding board member of the non-profit Twice The Ice, a public/private project dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the Fort Collins community ice arena. He served on the Twice The Ice board for 7 years. Win has been involved with several land conservation projects in the Ohio Creek Valley and the Crested Butte area starting in the 1990s. Win and Anda split their time between Crested Butte and Fort Collins. Win and Anda have two grown children, Nick and Erika. Win and his family enjoy mountain biking, hiking, Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, and ice sports including figure skating and hockey.
