The 24th Annual Caddis Cup Fly Fishing Tournament is happening Tuesday, July 20, 2027!

As Crested Butte Land Trust’s longest-running fundraiser, the Caddis Cup supports our mission to conserve and care for the lands, waters, and wildlife habitat that make the Gunnison Valley so special.

Tournament Schedule

Kick-Off Party
Monday, July 19 at 6 PM – Cement Creek Ranch (about 5 miles up Cement Creek Rd)
A casual meet-and-greet with guides and fellow anglers. We’ll have dinner, beers, and a chance to connect before the tournament.

Tournament Day
Tuesday, July 20 | 8 AM – 4 PM
Fish anywhere in Gunnison County.

Awards Party
Tuesday, July 20 at 5 PM – Ruth & Chris Carey’s home (1144 County Rd 734)
Dinner, drinks, and prizes to celebrate the day.

On-water no earlier than 8 am | Off no later than 4 pm

Fish only within Gunnison County limits

Brook trout do not count (except for Grand Slam award)

20″ or greater are counted twice

Barbless hooks only

Catch & release only

No float fishing

20% penalty for private water
