W. Henson Moore of Baton Rouge, La., is a retired president and CEO of the American Forest & Paper Association. Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant to the President and deputy chief of staff for President George H. W. Bush (1992-93), Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy (1989-92), and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Louisiana’s 6th congressional district (1975-87). Moore is an alumnus of LSU and has served in a variety of leadership capacities including chairperson of the Forever LSU Campaign and as a member of the Board of the Tiger Athletic Foundation. Moore is married to Carolyn C. Moore, and they have three children,  10 grandchildren, and have owned a home in the Meridian Lake neighborhood since 2004.
