Spanish-Language Field Trip | TBA

With local outdoor enthusiast, Molly Murfee, leading the way, we’ll explore our conserved lands in Spanish on this inclusive outing. Yamel Aguirre with the County’s Juvenile Services Department and City Councilperson Marisela Ballesteros will also be along for the adventure as we stroll along the Lower Loop’s wide path and enjoy a picnic lunch on conserved lands! RSVPs are required at jessica@cblandtrust.org.

The Lower Loop is an easy out and back that can be as much as 4 miles round trip or as short as you’d like. As a group, we’ll hike along the wide path, which extends half a mile up the Slate River valley from the trailhead and is stroller-friendly. Another half mile of easy terrain will bring us to the Slate River and singletrack trail that is no longer stroller-friendly. Those who wish to continue on may do so in one group while the other may head back based on the needs of the group.
