Strategic Plan

To more effectively manage our land conservation programs and projects, the Crested Butte Land Trust recently completed a comprehensive long-range planning process that resulted in the organization’s first ever strategic plan.

Reviewed and adopted by the  Crested Butte Land Trust’s Board of Directors, the Land Trust’s Strategic Plan was created after reaching out to the community through in-depth interviews with local residents, conservation leaders and others for whom the permanent protection of open lands is a vital component of our ecological and economic well-being.  The Land Trust Strategic Plan for 2011-2013 defines the purpose of the organization and articulates our mission, our vision for the future, and the values that guide our work while identifying a set of ambitious, yet realistic goals to guide the Land Trust’s activities over the next three years.
