Ann Johnston, Executive Director
Ann has led the organization through a period of significant growth, working to strengthen the Crested Butte Land Trust’s stewardship, financial and land protection practices since 2006. As the previous owner of several small businesses, she brings over twenty years of management and communication experience to the organization. Her community outreach includes serving as Steering Committee Member for Western Slope Rural Philanthropy Days, and a Peer Reviewer for Great Outdoors Colorado. Ann has a B.A. Degree in Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado. director@cblandtrust.org
Danielle Beamer, Conservation CoordinatorDanielle’s passion for protecting natural resources was demonstrated while she worked as a Crew Leader for the Student Conservation Association, which involved wilderness restoration, trail work, invasive species monitoring and removal, and education of conservation practices. She currently volunteers for Partners, a youth mentoring nonprofit organization. Danielle graduated with a B.A. Degree in Integral Psychology and Experiential Education from Prescott College, Arizona. conserve@cblandtrust.org
Elizabeth Vehlow, Outreach Coordinator Liz is responsible for updating and managing the land trust’s outreach and communications systems, including engaging volunteers. Formerly an Income Development Representative at the American Cancer Society in Chicago. Liz also served as a Steering Committee Member for Western Slope Rural Philanthropy Days. She has a B.A. Degree in Organizational Communications from Xavier University. events@cblandtrust.org
